Specialty diving courses
Specialty diving courses allow you to develop specific skills and expand your experience as a certified diver.
Each program combines theoretical training with training dives in the sea, where the techniques and knowledge learned are applied.
Taking specialty diving courses in Tossa de Mar, on the Costa Brava, allows you to train in a natural environment with a great diversity of reliefs and ecosystems characteristic of the Mediterranean.
Recognition levels as an SSI diver
As you complete specialty diving courses and gain experience, the Scuba Schools International (SSI) training system recognizes your progress with different levels:
- Specialty Diver: 2 specialty programs and 12 logged dives.
- Advanced Specialty Diver: 4 specialty programs and 24 logged dives. Requires the Deep Diving specialty.
- Master Diver: Deep Diving specialty, Diver Stress & Rescue, 3 additional specialties, and 50 logged dives.
