Diving course
The Open Water Diver course is the complete entry-level certification for recreational diving, allowing you to dive independently accompanied by another certified diver anywhere in the world.
The training follows the standards of Scuba Schools International (SSI) and combines theory with practical training in the sea.
The course includes five training dives, carried out in the sea in Tossa de Mar, where skill development sessions are combined with open water dives, progressively applying everything learned in a real environment.
We work in small groups, always respecting safety ratios and adapting the learning pace to each student.
At the end, you will obtain an international certification that allows you to dive up to 18 meters deep.
Our goal is not only to certify you, but to train you as a diver with technique, confidence, and real autonomy.
- Required level: No prior certification
- Minimum age: 10 years
How the course works
To start the course, you must download the Scuba Schools International (SSI) app and create your personal diver profile.
You can download it here: https://my.divessi.com
Once registered, you will receive an SSI student number. When you book the course, send us this number and, after receiving the deposit, we will assign you the Open Water Diver course within the platform.
From that moment, you will have access to the digital study material, which includes theoretical content, videos, and quizzes that you can complete at your own pace before starting the practical part.
The practical training of the course takes place in the sea and consists of five training dives, where skill development sessions in confined waters are combined with four open water training dives, progressively applying everything learned.
At the end of the course, SSI will issue your international digital certification, which will be registered in your personal profile and will allow you to dive anywhere in the world.
