Marine Ecology Course

Diving specialty
The Marine Ecology course is designed to better understand marine ecosystems and the relationships between the different species that inhabit the underwater environment.
During the training, you will learn how marine ecosystems function, the interaction between organisms, the importance of natural balance, and the role divers play in the conservation of the marine environment.
This specialty allows you to interpret the underwater environment with a more complete perspective, helping you better understand what we observe during dives.
The training combines a theoretical session led by an instructor and a training dive in the sea, where you can apply the knowledge learned by observing the marine ecosystem in its natural environment.
Completing this specialty in Tossa de Mar, on the Costa Brava, allows you to discover Mediterranean biodiversity and better understand how its ecosystems function.
- Required level: Referral Diver (theoretical and confined water part of the Open Water program completed)
- Minimum age: 10 years
