Deep Diving Course

Diving specialty 

The Deep Diving course is designed for divers who want to expand their knowledge and skills to carry out deeper dives safely.  

During the training you will learn how to plan deep dives, manage air consumption, understand the effects of depth, and apply specific safety procedures for this type of diving.  

The course combines theoretical training with three training dives in the sea, where you will practice the necessary techniques to operate safely at greater depths.  

Completing this specialty in Tossa de Mar, on the Costa Brava, allows you to train in an ideal environment for this type of training, with different underwater landscapes that facilitate the progressive learning of deep diving.  

This specialty is part of the progression within the Scuba Schools International (SSI) training system and is a requirement to obtain the Advanced Specialty Diver and Master Diver certifications.  

• Required level: Open Water Diver or equivalent certification  
• Minimum age: 15 years

How the course works

If you are not yet a Scuba Schools International (SSI) student, you must download the SSI app and create your personal diver profile.

Once registered, you will receive your SSI student number. 

If you already have your student number, simply book the course. After receiving the deposit, send us your SSI student number, and we will assign you the corresponding program on the platform.

 
Once the course is assigned, you will have access to the digital study materials, which you must complete before carrying out the practical part.

Not included

• Diving insurance

It is mandatory to have valid diving insurance to participate in the activities. If you do not have it, it is possible to arrange it directly at the center.
