Introductory Diving Course

The Basic Diver course is a first introduction to diving that allows you to start in the underwater world with basic training before completing a full certification. 

During the program, you will learn the fundamentals of diving, the use of equipment, and essential safety rules. 

The practical training is conducted in the sea, in the environment of Tossa de Mar, and includes two training dives: one for skill development in controlled conditions and another in open water where you will apply what you have learned. 

The activity is performed with a 1:1 ratio, guaranteeing a safe and progressive experience. 

This program allows you to continue later with the Open Water Diver course, recognizing the training performed during the following 6 months.

• Required level: No prior certification
• Minimum age: 10 years

How the course works 

To perform the course, you must download the Scuba Schools International (SSI) app and create your personal diver profile. 

You can download it here: https://my.divessi.com

Once registered, you will receive an SSI student number. When you make the course reservation, send us this number and, after receiving the deposit, we will assign the Basic Diver program within the platform.

From that moment, you will have access to the theoretical introduction material that is part of the program. 

Throughout the entire activity, we work with a 1:1 ratio (one instructor per participant), which allows for fully personalized attention and ensures a safe experience adapted to each student’s pace.

• SSI Basic Diver certification (valid 6 months)
• Souvenir photographs (non-professional), subject to safety and availability
